This stainless steel mesh uses a thinner 0.028" wire for the weave. We recommend this stainless mesh with the thinner 0.028" wire for smaller grilles and vents. Because of its thinner wire, it also works great for press forming speaker grilles. If you are looking for a mesh for a large speaker grille or large vent, we would recommend the stainless steel mesh with the larger diameter wire as it would be more rigid spanned across a larger open area.
Our Woven Stainless Steel Mesh is sold in 12"x24" sheets. The diameter of the woven stainless steel wire is 0.028". It can be easily cut to size with sheet metal shears. This stainless mesh can be bent or curved. With a simple wood buck, the mesh can also be press formed!
