Our extruded aluminum trim is a great way to add some metal trim to your custom interior!
This No-Drill Aluminum Trim measures a little over 9/16” wide, and a bit over 1/4” tall. This trim can be mounted without the need to drill into the aluminum trim. We have two fastener options for attaching this trim: bendable tabs, or screws and nuts. The tabs and screws slide into a “track” inside the trim. For each strip of trim, we send 17 fasteners. This allows you to put a fastener about every 4". You can purchase the trim with tabs, screws/nuts, or a mixture of tabs and screws/nuts. We also sell extra tabs and screws/nuts separately.
The trim comes in 72" long strips. We use an aluminum alloy, 3003, that is easy to bend to bend and shape. The trim comes in the raw extruded finish. It is easy to polish for a shiny finish, or you can give it a brushed look with an abrasive pad. The trim has blunt ends, but the ends are easy to shape with a 3" angle grinder. Please see the video that shows how the ends can be finished to hide the slot in the trim.
Right now, we only sell this trim in 72" long strips. Much longer than that, and the shipping gets VERY expensive! The trim can be tig welded together if you need longer pieces.
