These small LED Dimmer Modules can be used to dim the LED strip lights that come with our LED Aluminum Trim and the LED strips we sell separately. They are easy to wire, and easy to use. Simply turn the knob to dim the LEDs. The module has 4 terminal block screws, allowing you to securely make your electrical connections. It has connections for 1 (+) and 1 (-) coming in from the 12v source, and 1 (+) and 1 (-) going out to the LED lights.
These are rated at 12v and 30a. One dimmer module can control up to 120 FEET of our LED strips, so unless you are installing a ton of LEDs, you will only need one dimmer module!
We recommend also installing a master ON/OFF switch between the 12v source and this LED Dimmer Module. A separate ON/OFF switch will stop all current going to the LED Dimmer Module and the LEDs themselves. If you do not use a separate ON/OFF switch, even in the with the LED Dimmer Module in the OFF position, it might consume a little bit of power.
Do not install this LED Dimmer Module in locations that will get extremely hot, or that will possibly have exposure to moisture.
